Dear all,
This is to inform you that assignment 2 is now open and the deadline for submission is in two weeks. I also want to note that for Exercise 2.6 you can use that if a commutes with a normal b, then a commutes with b* as well. For a prtoof of that you may want to check Exercise 2.8 and 2.7 of Murphy. there is no need to provide a solution for this fact, but that solution is quite interesting to see at least once.
