The course is divided into three thematic sections:

- Lecture A4. In vivo/ in vitro Diagnosis - Nanosensors
- Lecture B1. Targeting strategies in drug delivery
- Lecture B2. Applications of nanotechnology in drug delivery
- Lecture C1. Regenerative Medicine
- Lecture C2. Combining polymeric biomaterials and nanotechnology in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
- Lecture C3. Nanotoxicity aspects
- Lecture C4. Nanotechnology for Medical Imaging
- Lecture C5. Nanodrugs in clinical use & Nanovaccines
- Lecture C6. Nanotechnology for personalized disease management
- Lecture C7. Regulatory landscape of nanomedicines
The purpose of the "Nanomedicine" course is for the student to understand the basic principles of nanotechnology and the breadth of its applications in modern medicine.
- Be able to identify the fields of application of nanotechnology in medicine and biology
- Can combine the information at his disposal and recognize the various fields of application of nanomedicine (diagnosis, treatment, etc.)
- Have a basic understanding of molecular imaging and hyperthermia methods using nanotechnology.
- Be able to distinguish between the different classes of nanomaterials and classes of nanoparticles used in nanomedicine.
- Realize cutting edge technologies in targeted gene transfer and targeted drug
- Discover the application of nanosensors in in vitro/in vivo diagnostics
- Add to his knowledge background alternative imaging methods based on nanomedicine
- Expand his knowledge about Regenerative medicine, and the use of nanotechnology in Surgery - Orthopedics
- Develop a comprehensive view of the possibility of effective targeted drug delivery
- Be able to distinguish the individual stages of the combined radiotherapy - hyperthermia method
- Be able to analyze the advantages of RNA/DNA vaccine technology and nano- vaccines
- Organize the available information and will have strengthened his information about possible diseases that could use nanomedicine in their diagnosis or treatment (cancer, neurodegenerative diseases, dermatological diseases, etc.)
- Compare the advantages of modern methods based on nanomedicine, against conventional medical approaches
