Aspiring to improve the ease of use, contentment and efficiency of the interaction, among end users and non judicious computer systems, AI techniques have been incorporated while designing the interfaces. So, whether the systems are dealing with audio, text, haptic or visual interfaces, any User Interface that can interact with end users in an intelligent way using Artificial Intelligence(AI) techniques is termed an Intelligent User Interface. Intelligent User Interfaces (IUIs) are advanced interactive environments with interoperability, that can sense, acknowledge and react to patterns of user or system interactions and employ Artificial Intelligence to enhance the governance of computer based machines and devices. IUI's, convey impressive interactive capabilities in several forms of communication, drammaticaly improving and simplifying responsiveness, while they enhance the human experience. IUIs can, for example, identify a user’s speech or gesture or movement, adapt to preferences based on analysis of past patterns and perform interactions introducing thus an intuitive and innovative way to communicate with electronic devices,

The major aims of this curriculum are to:

1. gain a deeper understanding of an  IUI system basic AI techniques and its constituents,

2. acquire a comprehensive insight of several applications and their corresponding Machine Learning training stages and

3. use their experience built through the course to develop critical skills enabling them to evaluate  existing systems,
