Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

The course examines aspects of intercultural variation at the pragmatic level of linguistic analysis, as it arises from the analysis of real life translation practice. The focus is both on how linguistics has contributed to shaping translation theory and on how trans­lation practice can enlighten aspects of linguistic analysis. Assessment is through weekly assignments and a final assignment.
