Περιγραφή Μαθήματος

This course focuses on three central documents of the educational process: curriculum, syllabus and learning materials and the relationship between them. It aims at developing students’ awareness of the curriculum development and syllabus design process as well as their skills for syllabus and materials design, and evaluation.

Throughout the sessions, students will be carrying out practical tasks and activities which aim to reinforce their understanding of main principles, theories, models and terms and to help them link theory with practice.  They will be acquainted with a range of curriculum documents, teaching materials and resources. They will also be introduced to the work of the Research Centre for Language Teaching, Learning and Assessment relating to curriculum and materials development.
