Beschreibung des Kurses

The aim of this course is a) to introduce the future teacher of the English language  to the latest teaching methods which use literature as an educational instrument in the EFL classroom  b) to explore ways of adjusting these methods to his/her own teaching priorities as well as to the needs and interests of his/her class c) to explore the ways the teaching of literature can help  to enhance the social and emotional skills, based on the principles of the theory of Emotional Intelligence, which are critical to the shaping of the personality of their learners.
