This course is designed for students who have completed two years of Latin study.

We'll deepen our understanding of Latin grammar and syntax, expand our vocabulary, and hone our translation skills.

We'll engage with increasingly complex Latin texts, bridging the gap between basic language acquisition and advanced knowledge of Latin.

 

Key focus areas:

• Advanced grammatical structures
• Nuanced syntactical patterns
• Vocabulary expansion, including idiomatic expressions
• Translation techniques for prose and poetry

 

By the end of this course, we'll be prepared to tackle more challenging Latin texts.
