Student Volunteers Wanted – LISP Field Survey (Agistri), September–October 2026

The LISP (Little Islandscapes of the Saronic Project) is seeking student volunteers to participate in its archaeological field survey on Agistri and the neighbouring islands. The project investigates the long-term history of human activity in the area, and this season's work continues to build on significant discoveries from Prehistoric, Classical, and Late Antique periods.

Survey dates: 13 September – 3 October 2026.

Volunteers will participate in intensive pedestrian survey, artefact identification and collection, and other fieldwork tasks as part of the survey team. Previous archaeological field experience is welcome but not essential. Students with an interest in archaeology, landscape survey, or material culture are encouraged to apply. Participation for shorter periods is also welcome.

The project covers accommodation, food, and travel within Greece.

Students who are interested or would like further information are welcome to contact me directly by email at chris.nuttall@sia.gr.
