CLARRIFICATIONS ON THE EXAM
Here are some clarifications on some questions:
1) Part 1, problem 2a. It is in R^3. My omission.
2) Part 3, 1a. The (free) energy is a functional that does not increase in time. It is reted to the Euler-Lagrange equation, that in the Ellipic Case considered in class was the Dirichlet Energy, but it is not that.
