Course : ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION IN THE EU /ENVIRONMENTAL LAW AND THE INTERNAL MARKET_περιβάλλον και εσωτερική αγορά

Dear students,

I have just uploaded on eclass the slides from yesterday's presentation on energy transition and decarbonisation. I have also uploaded a short analysis on the principle of energy solidarity and the landmark judgement in the OPAL case (which you can directly access here: https://curia.europa.eu/juris/document/document.jsf?text=&docid=244187&pageIndex=0&doclang=en&mode=req&dir=&occ=first&part=1&cid=560728). if you have any questions regarding the principle of energy solidarity and the judgement, or anything else, feel free to contact me.

Regarding next week, we will a guest lecture by dr. Kristof Wauters and ms. Lydia Sofrona on "Environmental taxes and corporate compliance". Theguest lecture will take place at 17.00 - 19.00, Room 8, Hall of Theoretical Sciences, Sina 3, as usual.

Reagrding your oral exams, they are planned for Monday 17 June, in Room Athens PIL, str. Akadimias 47. The class will be split in 2 groups, one going from 15.00 to 17.00 and another going from 17.00 to 19.00. Please send me your preferences (if any) either individually (per group) or collectively through your representative. Please send me the preferences as soon as possible because the sooner I have the information the earlier I can draft the programme for that day and send it to you. I will send you more information about the programme of that day and restate practical information by Friday 14 June at the latest (hopefully earlier, but this depends on by when I have your preferences!).

Last, I would like to kindly ask you to spend some time to fill in the evaluation for the course. It is very important for us (the LLM and me personally) to know what has been done well and to improve.
