Dear class,
Following yesterday's on-site class, I wish to thank you all for attending my classes this semester, and for your feedback.
Let me remind you that I will remain available until the end of the semester regarding your term papers etc but also until the end of the Program for any form of consultation or mentoring, including the choice of your thesis topic, or future career moves (including references).
Till then, and as a parting gift, let me share this, a paper I just published in collaboration with a former PhD student of mine, where we looked into cases of "Roman" gift exchange between Mussolini and Franco in the Interwar years. Different sorts of materiality there, but there you have it: the agency always flows one direction or another.
