Dear students,
We are pleased to invite you to the International Students Conference in Social Sciences - Current Issues in Students Research, organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Doctoral School of Sociology, and the Department of Sociology and Social Work, University of Oradea, under the aegis of the Balkan Sociological Forum and in partnership with the Bihor Territorial Branch of the National College of Social Workers in Romania.
The event will take place on May 30-31, 2024, both on-site and online.
During the conference, you will have the opportunity to present your work, participate in interactive workshops, and explore topics such as social processes in contemporary Romania, social work in contemporary society, and perspectives on the field of human resources.
We are pleased to announce that the event will open on 30 May with a keynote: Aspirations, agency, and well-being of Romanian migrants in Greece by Prof. Apostolos G. Papadopoulos, Ph.D., Department of Geography, Harokopio University of Athens, Greece.
The same day, you have the opportunity to attend the workshop: Researching the social determinants of student sporting habits in the Hungarian-Romanian-Ukrainian cross-border area, held by Prof. Univ. Dr. Habil. Klára Kovács, University of Debrecen, Hungary.
