Emotion and Political Behaviour - Registration Instructions - 2nd Announcement
For the students who missed the announcement posted on 23rd September, here is a 2nd Announcement. Please, do not contact me in my personal mail, but follow the instructions below:
This seminar is offered in English and is open to Erasmus students. The maximum number of students that may enroll is 25. Priority will be given to Erasmus and local final-year students, on a first come first served basis. Students who wish to attend must register at the seminar’s e-class which will remain open for registration up until 25 participants are enrolled or no later than Monday, October 2 at 6:00 p.m.
The first lecture will be carried out on Tuesday 3rd October, at 3:00 pm. in Room 307 (Sophocleous Build.).
Description of Seminar: Political involvement and apathy, optimism, cynicism, trust and distrust in politics and institutions, and several other attitudes and behaviours studied by political science have a psychological background. This seminar investigates the psychological processes on the basis of which political attitudes and behaviour are formed, with a special focus on emotions as motivating components of political action. Attendance and assessment: Attendance is mandatory (maximum number of absences: 3). Students are expected to actively participate in class. Assessment is based on article presentation (30%), research project (35%), and final exam (35%).
