Lectures in the second half of the course

Dear all,

The second half of the course will include more specialized lectures given by researchers, members of the Communication Networks Lab (postdocs and PhD candidates). Tomorrow's presentation will be on "Mobility management for 5G HetNets" and more specifically:

• 5G HetNets basics

• Challenges for Mobility Management (MM) in HetNets

• Key research areas for MM in HetNets

• Overview of procedures and open issues for MM in HetNets

• Overview of modeling/performance evaluation tools for MM in HetNets

• How to set up a survey

 

The aim is to broaden your view on current and future trends and strengthen your knowledge in areas that are and will remain critical in mobile communications.

 

I also take the opportunity to let you know that the list of subjects for your personal assignment will be available by the end of the month, and the deadline for submission will be around the end of January or mid of February.
